St.Scholastica: Sitting at the Master's Feet

Message from Saint Scholastica To The Little Apostle on 02/25//25

ST. SCHOLASTICA:

Dear ones,

Our Lord has commanded me to call attention to the sorrow in His Heart as He perceives many within His Church—servants and ambassadors of His love—who, ensnared by pride, are still resisting  holiness.

In their many excuses and the falsehoods they embrace—the lies inherited from the father of lies—they remain in a state of spiritual lethargy, exhibiting a piety that is superficial. This delays the holy works that Jesus intended to manifest through His Church, works that have been postponed. Yet in His generosity, He continues to bestow abundant graces and treasures so that no soul may be deprived of His bounty.

“Within the bounds of the great knowledge in which my soul was immersed in the majesty of God, while living on earth I offered myself to arduous labor and works that demanded much of my time, even beyond my own desire for cloistered life. Jesus, ever gracious, guided my soul and kept me close to His heart while leading me in the active part of my mission. I was mild and obedient to His desires. As a religious soul, I had to learn—as you must—to assist Jesus both in a contemplative manner and in active service. Yet the work He requested of me never became an encumbrance; in moments of quietude and during the structured hours of my vocation, I embraced the discipline He ordained for my life with great humility as a pliable instrument  in His mighty hands. “

Thus, I know how challenging the path of holiness can be for the laity, as you experience.

All will be well, dear ones. I leave you with the blessing of the Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
